2010 SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEK

APRIL 12^TH THRU APRIL 16^TH, 2010

The City of Lake Alfred urges all citizens to clean-up around their homes.  During the week of April 12^th thru April 16^th, 2010, the city is offering to residential customers, pick-up of the following items at no charge.  Sorry during this week, your normal pick-up schedule days will not be in effect.

Furniture - couches, bedding and other household items, etc.

Construction debris - tile, concrete, carpet, metal, wood (NO PAINT)

Yard trash - limbs, clippings, grass and leaves (MUST BE BAGGED).

ALL ITEMS MUST BE CURBSIDE BY 7:00AM.  THE CITY WILL NOT PICK-UP TREES THAT ARE BEING REMOVED DURING CLEAN-UP WEEK.

WEDNESDAY ONLY (APRIL 14^TH)

Tires – with or without rims.

NO HAZARDOUS WASTE WILL BE COLLECTED!!!!

Used motor oil, anti-freeze, batteries, chemicals and other household hazardous waste can be taken to the North Central Landfill Haz-Mat Collection Facility.

Road Construction Project

(U.S. 17/92 from U.S. 17 & U.S. 92 to

Rochelle Avenue, Lake Alfred, Florida)
